When is packet pickup? Friday, August 31st from 4-7 p.m. at OrthoIllinois’ Riverside location: 5875 E. Riverside Blvd, Rockford, or Saturday morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. When/Where do I turn in my donations for RAMP? You may turn in your donations the morning of the event. For more info, contact RAMP at 815-968-7467. What happens if I cannot participate for any reason? There are no medical comps, rollovers, refunds, or transfers of any kind. Can I register on race day? Yes! Race day registration and packet pickup begins as early as 6:30 a.m. at the City Market Pavilion in front of RAMP, 202 Market Street in downtown Rockford. Please arrive for check-in/registration at least 30 minutes prior to the event you will be participating in. Race day registration costs $30 for the 5K and $65 for the 1/2 Marathon Run. Am I guaranteed a race shirt? No. Race shirts unisex and are only guaranteed to those who register by August 25th. After that, shirts will be first come first serve based on availability, so register early! But if you raise $50 for RAMP by August 25th, you will earn an event t-shirt and other prizes! Parking Please park at Trinity Lutheran Church, up and down Market and Water Streets, the lot across the street from RAMP and the lot behind RAMP’s parking lot where Register Star employees park. What are the age brackets for the Half Marathon and 5K? They are broken into male and female brackets into the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+ Prizes Age bracket winners will receive a medal for the 5K and the Half Marathon Run. Brackets 15-19 and up will receive a medal for top male and top female in each bracket for the 5K and Half Marathon Run. One medal per bracket will be awarded in the younger brackets for the 5K and Half Marathon Run. The overall male winner and overall female winner for the 5K and Half Marathon Run will each receive $100. Street Closings We apologize in advance for the inconvenience of the following streets being closed on Saturday, September 1st from 7-11am: Lower Jefferson, Lafayette, Prairie, Madison, Hill & Olive Streets Can I bring my stroller or my dog? The 3K Walk/Wheel and the 5K Run are family friendly events and you may bring strollers. When participating in the 5K Run and you bring a stroller please position yourself near the back of the starting line. Unless you have a service dog, please leave your dog at home. Thank you!
